Wolves reach agreement with Marseille to sign Angel Gomes on loan
Wolves have reached an agreement with Marseille to sign Angel Gomes (25) on loan until the end of the season, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. The England international midfielder will now travel to the Midlands to complete his temporary switch before the end of the transfer window.
The Premier League club will pay an initial €1m fee for the loan move, and he will stay until the end of the season. Nevertheless, a purchase option has also been included in the deal, which would allow Wolves to sign the Manchester United academy graduate for a fee of €7m at the end of the season.
Gomes on the move again?
Just 6 months after he joined Marseille as a free agent following his departure from Lille, it looks like Gomes could be on the move again. Since arriving at the Stade Vélodrome, the midfielder has made 20 appearances across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and registering 1 assist.
